Key Responsibilities:- Assist in the preparation of monthly client invoices and accounts receivable collections.
- Support the Project Accountant with cash flow management.
- Aid in cost control by reconciling sub-trade billing and material reports, as well as managing trades payable, costing, and invoicing.
- Conduct monthly reconciliations of subcontractor and client invoices.
- Assist with forecasting, project recoveries, and various reconciliations.
- Understand and interpret legal contracts.
- Provide administrative support to the Subcontractor Qualifications Coordinator regarding subcontract documentation.
- Offer office management assistance as needed.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a college or university co-op or internship program, studying accounting, finance, business management, or a related field.
- Comfortable collaborating with teams to meet deadlines, demonstrating a proactive approach to keeping projects on track.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
- Knowledgeable in accounting databases with a keen attention to detail.
