Job Summary:

The Shuttle Operator will be responsible for operating para-transit vehicles, transporting patients to hospitals or other medical facilities, and ensuring the safety of passengers and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate para-transit vehicles safely and efficiently
  • Transport patients to hospitals or other medical facilities
  • Deal with the public in a professional and courteous manner
  • Complete logbooks and reports accurately
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections of vehicles
  • Oversee all aspects of vehicle maintenance and safety
Requirements:
  • Class 4/4F/F/4A-B-C Licence (ambulances, emergency vehicles, and buses with fewer than 24 passengers)
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Adult Abuse Registry check
  • Child Abuse Registry check
  • Criminal record check
  • Medical exam
  • Driver's abstract
  • Valid driver's licence
