We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shuttle Operator to join our team at 83651 Newfoundland & Labrador Inc.
Job Summary:The Shuttle Operator will be responsible for safely transporting patients to and from medical facilities, as well as between care facilities. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate para-transit vehicles to transport patients to and from medical facilities
- Deal with the public in a professional and courteous manner
- Complete logbooks and reports accurately and on time
- Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety
- Transport patients between care facilities, adhering to all safety protocols
- Hold a valid Class 4/4F/F/4A-B-C Licence for ambulances, emergency vehicles, and buses with fewer than 24 passengers
- Hold a First Aid Certificate
- Undergo regular Adult Abuse Registry checks, Child Abuse Registry checks, and Criminal record checks
- Pass a medical exam
- Hold a valid driver's abstract and a valid driver's licence
- Work in a fast-paced environment, handling heavy loads and working under pressure
- Meet the physical demands of the job, including sitting for extended periods and handling loads over 45 kg (100 lbs)
