Senior Structures Inspector

Egis Canada is seeking a highly skilled Senior Structures Inspector to join our Contract Administration Division. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the structural integrity and safety of our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect construction sites to ensure compliance with contract documents, quality, and safety standards.
  • Interpret contract drawings and specifications to identify potential issues.
  • Verify quantities and prepare progress reports to maintain accurate documentation.
  • Liaise with contractors and stakeholders to resolve any contractual or regulatory infractions.
Requirements:
  • University degree or College diploma in Civil/Structural Engineering.
  • 5 years of experience in structural inspection on road and/or bridge construction projects.
  • Demonstrated experience as a Construction Inspector-Structures on at least two previous projects.
  • Registered as EIT, if applicable, or P.Eng. with the PEO or OACETT designation as RCSi; or ability to obtain this designation within 6 months.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and attention to detail skills.
  • Demonstrated willingness to learn and work in a team environment.
  • Possess a valid driver's license and have access to a vehicle with valid registration and insurance.
