About the Role

GTA Couriers Inc is seeking a skilled Supervisor - Delivery Drivers to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our delivery drivers and ensuring the smooth execution of our delivery services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Delivery Drivers
    • Oversee the daily activities of our delivery drivers, ensuring they are aware of their routes, schedules, and delivery requirements.
    • Coordinate with drivers to ensure timely and efficient delivery of packages.
  • Monitor and Improve Operations
    • Monitor driver performance and provide feedback to improve efficiency and productivity.
    • Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to optimize delivery operations.
  • Ensure Customer Satisfaction
    • Work closely with customers to resolve any delivery issues or concerns.
    • Ensure that all customer interactions are professional and courteous.
  • Manage Inventory and Supplies
    • Oversee the inventory of delivery vehicles and equipment.
    • Ensure that all necessary supplies, such as fuel and maintenance materials, are available and in stock.
  • Perform Administrative Tasks
    • Manage driver schedules and time-off requests.
    • Process driver expenses and reimbursements.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience
    • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a supervisory or management role
  • Skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
