About the Role

Peter Lucas Project Management Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to contribute to our team's success. As a key member of our project delivery team, you will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical systems for various projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop mechanical systems, including process piping, mechanical equipment, and building services.
  • Collaborate with mechanical designers to create 3D models and 2D drawings.
  • Develop and revise technical specifications, work on scope of supply, and create Bill of Materials for procurement.
  • Signing and/or sealing of technical documents, including drawings, technical specifications, and calculations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • P.Eng designation.
  • Experience with sizing and selection of major mechanical equipment.
  • Proficiency in process piping design, including P&IDs, piping specifications, and piping isometrics.
  • Experience with pumping systems and equipment layout design.
  • Knowledge of building services, including drains and vents.
  • Experience with hydraulic modeling and simulation.
  • Proficiency in piping stress analysis.
  • Experience with steam/condensate and refrigerated cold-temperature piping systems.
  • Experience with Uranium would be an asset.
  • Eligibility to work in Canada.
