We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fire Sprinkler Fitter to join our team at Fire Safety and Protection LLC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful completion of assigned projects, coordinating with labor supervisors and project managers, and maintaining the highest quality of installation.
Key Responsibilities- Project Coordination: Coordinate with labor supervisors and project managers to ensure all necessary resources are available for project completion.
- Quality Control: Ensure quality and safety controls are in place to maintain a safe work environment and deliver superior installation quality.
- Equipment Maintenance: Responsible for the care and use of company-issued vehicles, equipment, and tools, ensuring they are properly maintained and protected from deterioration, damage, theft, and vandalism.
- Administrative Tasks: Submit weekly timesheets to the payroll department on requested dates and times.
- Communication: Attend pre-construction, coordination, and job progress meetings to ensure a complete understanding of project requirements and communicate necessary information to the project team.
- Material Coordination: Coordinate with labor supervisors and project managers to ensure timely material delivery and project start dates.
- Training and Development: Assist in the development and training of field personnel in good installation procedures to maintain a high degree of professionalism and safety practices.
- Technical Support: Provide technical consultation and support to company apprentices, technicians, designers, and shop employees.
- Additional Responsibilities: Respond to assigned duties and responsibilities from labor supervisors and project managers, and submit written job progress reports as requested.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years' experience installing sprinkler/fire protection systems.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and no DUI convictions.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand or climb stairs and ladders for extended periods.
- Lifting: Ability to lift a minimum of 40 pounds without assistance.
