Position Overview
Highwayman is in search of a talented Culinary Specialist to enhance our kitchen brigade. The Culinary Specialist will be tasked with preparing dishes in line with the recipes and standards set forth by the Executive Chef.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Prepare cooking ingredients, including measuring, chopping, and storing food items
  2. Efficiently cook and present menu offerings during service
  3. Ensure all culinary creations adhere to food safety and quality regulations
  4. Maintain a tidy and organized workspace
  5. Assist with the receipt and organization of deliveries
  6. Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to guarantee timely service

Required Skills

  1. Demonstrated experience as a Culinary Specialist or similar role in a fast-paced culinary environment
  2. Understanding of food safety, preparation, and handling protocols
  3. Ability to perform well under pressure in a high-demand kitchen
  4. Effective communication skills for team collaboration
  5. Familiarity with fundamental cooking techniques and kitchen equipment
