Key Responsibilities- Plastering and Finishing: Apply, level, and smooth coats of plaster to achieve a seamless finish.
- Corner Bead Installation: Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners and ensure a durable finish.
- Ceiling Grid Installation: Fabricate and install suspended metal ceiling grids and place in panels to form acoustical and coffered ceilings.
- Joint Compound Application: Fill joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks with joint compound using a trowel and broad knife.
- Drywall Installation: Measure, cut, fit, and install drywall sheets, positioning and securing them to metal or wooden studs or joists.
- Compound Smoothing: Smooth out excess compound and allow coat to dry, ensuring a smooth finish.
- Taping and Embedding: Tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in compound.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in the trade.
- Work Term: Permanent position.
- Work Language: English.
- Hours: 40 hours per week.
