Food Service Manager

Tipton's Your Independent Grocer is seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, including food preparation, portioning, and presentation.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation and ensure timely ordering and inventory management.
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, addressing customer complaints and concerns in a professional manner.
- Prepare and submit reports on sales, stock, and wastage, as well as maintain records of repairs and maintenance.
- Establish work schedules and supervise staff to ensure efficient operation of the food service area.
- 1-2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects, and work in a physically demanding environment.
Tipton's Your Independent Grocer is a dynamic and fast-paced environment that requires flexibility and adaptability. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be working in a urban area with a team of 3-4 people, including food service counter attendants, food preparers, and kitchen helpers.
Language:The primary language of work is English, with a 30-35 hour workweek.
