The Island Health Department of Medical Imaging in Duncan is seeking a full-time Radiologist for the Cowichan District Hospital (CDH). This position offers a unique chance to participate in designing and optimizing a hospital and imaging department.
Key Responsibilities:- Proficiency in CT, US, MRI, Mammography, Fluoroscopy, BMD, and basic interventional procedures.
- Flexibility, adaptability, and strong interpersonal skills to work harmoniously with a small group practice of 7 Radiologists.
- Ability to share in administrative roles and future leadership of the group.
- Interest in living in the local island community.
- Training in or willingness to train in CT Cardiac Coronary Angiography and CT Colonography.
- Preference for lifestyle-based practice with abundant vacation time and flexibility.
- Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada certification in Radiology.
- Eligibility for full licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of BC.
- May be eligible for additional remuneration in accordance with the Rural Subsidiary Agreement (RSA).
- Relocation cost reimbursements to a maximum of $15,.
- Recruitment incentive $10,
- Fee Premium 4.20%
- Annual flat fee $6,.80
