- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.
- Contract Management
- Assess requirements of our organization to develop specifications for equipment, materials, and supplies to be purchased.
- Develop and manage contracts with suppliers to ensure compliance with our organization's policies and procedures.
- Logistics and Operations
- Plan, organize, and oversee the operational logistics of our organization, including inventory management and supply chain coordination.
- Monitor and report on the progress of delivery schedules and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Customer Service
- Provide excellent customer service to our clients and stakeholders, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Education
- College or CEGEP diploma in a relevant field, such as business, supply chain management, or a related field.
- Experience
- At least 1 year of experience in a purchasing or procurement role, preferably in a private sector organization.
- Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess requirements and develop solutions.
- Proficient in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
This is a permanent full-time position, working 30-40 hours per week. The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with tight deadlines and a large caseload. The successful candidate will be able to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail in a busy environment.
