Senior Active Directory Solutions Architect

**Job Summary**
Resonaite is seeking a highly skilled Senior Active Directory Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our IT infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing Active Directory environments, ensuring the security and integrity of our systems.
**Key Responsibilities**
- **Active Directory Management**: Design and implement Active Directory environments, including forests, domains, trusts, and organizational units, to ensure seamless integration with our existing infrastructure.
- **Security and Compliance**: Implement and manage security best practices for Active Directory, including Group Policy Objects (GPOs), security groups, and access controls, to protect our systems from threats.
- **Semperis DSP Management**: Utilize the Semperis Directory Services Protection (DSP) platform to monitor, detect, and respond to threats in the Active Directory environment, ensuring rapid incident response and recovery.
- **Disaster Recovery**: Develop and maintain Active Directory disaster recovery plans, including the use of Semperis AD Forest Recovery, to ensure rapid restoration post-breach or system failure.
- **Monitoring and Troubleshooting**: Regularly monitor Active Directory health and performance using tools like Semperis Purple Knight and other diagnostic tools, troubleshoot and resolve issues related to replication, authentication, and synchronization.
- **Integration**: Collaborate with IT and cybersecurity teams to integrate Active Directory security measures with other identity management and security solutions, ensuring a cohesive security posture.
- **Automation**: Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts or other automation tools to streamline Active Directory administration tasks, improving efficiency and reducing manual errors.
- **Documentation**: Maintain comprehensive documentation of Active Directory environments, configurations, processes, and recovery plans, ensuring transparency and knowledge sharing within the team.
**Requirements**
- 8 years of experience in managing and supporting Active Directory in complex, multi-domain environments.
- Semperis Expertise: Hands-on experience with Semperis DSP, AD Forest Recovery, and Purple Knight for Active Directory monitoring, security, and recovery.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation, strong understanding of LDAP, Kerberos, NTLM, DNS, and other core Active Directory technologies.
- Security Knowledge: Strong understanding of Active Directory security, identity, and access management (IAM) principles, and experience implementing security controls and monitoring solutions.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, or similar are preferred.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
