Job Summary

The Team Lead Canada is a key member of the 0929-Sault College Bkst team, responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the store. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and a customer-centric approach.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Collaborate with Department Managers or Store Managers to receive, price, and stock merchandise to meet customer needs and drive sales and profits.
  2. Assist Team Members with completing tasks and provide guidance and support as needed.
  3. Act as leader on duty, responding to customer and team member concerns in the absence of the Store Manager.
  4. Ensure the store is opened and closed safely and securely, and that all bookstore property and team members are protected.
  5. Develop and implement strategies to improve store performance and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  1. 1-3 years of relevant retail management experience.
  2. Associates Degree or equivalent preferred.
  3. Able to consistently walk and stand, lift 25-50 pounds, and move merchandise using proper equipment.
  4. Basic computer skills, including the ability to create and save text documents.
  5. Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
