Job Title: Building Manager in Gatineau

Job Summary:

Cogir is seeking a highly skilled Building Manager to oversee the daily operations of housing units in Gatineau. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in real estate and property management, with excellent communication and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with regional directors to develop and implement action plans to maximize rental performance
  • Develop and implement a management plan for high-level multi-let properties
  • Ensure high-level customer service and optimal building management
  • Manage a multidisciplinary team providing services to the building
  • Manage rent collection and deposits according to standards
  • Manage purchase orders and invoices
  • Monthly budget management
  • Plan tenant arrivals and departures while maintaining building security
  • Provide quality maintenance for customers and property spaces
  • Manage apartment renovations according to regional management plans
  • Work with regional teams to carry out capital works and register files with the Régie du Logement

Requirements:

  • Bilingual
  • Bachelor's degree in administration or relevant discipline, or 3-5 years of experience in multi-housing or real estate
  • Natural focus on customer service and satisfaction
  • Sales/marketing oriented
  • Knowledge of financial statement analysis, business plan creation, and execution
