Job Description

Chick-Fil-A West Edmonton Mall is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Shift Leader to join our team. As a Shift Leader, you will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless operation of our restaurant and delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Restaurant Operations Management: Oversee and coordinate the daily operations of the restaurant during assigned shifts, ensuring a smooth and efficient service delivery.
  • Customer Service Leadership: Lead and motivate the team to exceed guest expectations, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience.
  • Team Development and Training: Train and develop team members in accordance with company guidelines, ensuring high-quality service and product knowledge.
  • Inventory Management and Control: Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations, and perform regular inventory checks.
  • Financial Management: Perform opening and closing duties, including cash management and reconciling daily sales.
  • Problem-Solving and Conflict Resolution: Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly and effectively.
Requirements
  • Leadership Experience: Previous experience in a supervisory role in the restaurant industry is preferred.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Problem-Solving and Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Attention to Detail: Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge and Compliance: Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices in the food service industry.
  • Availability and Flexibility: Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
