Part Time Instructor: BScN Science, School of Nursing

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced academic instructor to join our team at McMaster University's School of Nursing. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate BScN programs at McMaster, Mohawk, or Conestoga.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver course content and oversee administrative components of the course
  • Grade and complete student evaluation measures
  • Hold office hours and manage student accommodations
Compensation and Benefits:

The teaching stipend per course (per term) ranges between $5500 – $10,200, depending on the course. The weekly hours of work will be determined and discussed during the recruitment process and are course specific.

Required Qualifications:
  • Master's degree required (Nursing, Health Science, Science, Biochemistry, or a related field). PhD preferred.
  • Previous experience teaching at the university level.
  • Ability to teach a diverse group of students.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Experience in scholarship, including curriculum development and evaluation, and research is an asset.
  • Experience as a tutor in a Problem-Based Curriculum is an asset.
