Quality and Maintenance Training Specialist

Job Summary
CB Canada is seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance and Maintenance Training Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for supporting the maintenance activities of our district, which includes 28 repair facilities throughout Canada.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership, mentoring, and training to operations and maintenance staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Support area Operations Managers on issues specific to fleet and facility maintenance, ensuring that all maintenance activities are carried out in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Work with shop staff to meet Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), budget, and equipment forecasts, ensuring that all maintenance activities are carried out in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Develop, train, and roll out maintenance processes and procedures to ensure that all maintenance activities are carried out in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Develop, train, and roll out Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) processes and procedures to ensure that all maintenance activities are carried out in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Audit equipment and facilities to identify areas for improvement, create action plans, provide training, and monitor for completion to ensure that all maintenance activities are carried out in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Audit CMMS systems and provide training and support to locations to ensure that all maintenance activities are carried out in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Licensed Automotive or Heavy Equipment Technician certificate.
- Strong background in CMMS, preferably Web Fleet Assist.
- Minimum 5 years of related fleet management/maintenance experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (specifically Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Self-starter, able to work independently to meet company objectives.
- Skilled at building relationships with area Operations Managers, maintenance shops, and external suppliers.
