We are seeking a skilled procurement professional to join our team at Ontario Health at Home. As a Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for leading the procurement process for a wide variety of goods and services, ensuring compliance with OPS Procurement Directives and Ontario Health at Home relevant policies and procedures.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in procurement and contract management, with experience in managing complex and high-dollar contracts. You will be responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring that Ontario Health at Home achieves the optimum balance of cost, quality, and delivery in the acquisition of goods and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet business needs
  • Manage vendor relationships and ensure compliance with OPS Procurement Directives
  • Develop and manage contracts, including RFBs, RFQs, and evaluations
  • Ensure that Ontario Health at Home achieves the optimum balance of cost, quality, and delivery in the acquisition of goods and services
  • Manage reporting and ensure contracts are procured or renewed accordingly

Requirements:

  • University degree or college diploma in a related field, such as Health Administration or Business
  • 3-5 years of experience in procurement and contract management
  • Knowledge of contract law and OPS Procurement Directives
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
