Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Amica Jubilee House, a leading provider of senior living services in British Columbia and Ontario.

About the Role:

As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our residents. You will be responsible for providing nursing care, administering medications, and collaborating with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide nursing care to residents, including administering medications, wound care, and vital sign monitoring
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify resident needs and develop strategies to address them
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions
Requirements:
  • Current registration and good standing with the BCCNM
  • Current CPR certification
  • Ability to communicate effectively with residents and team members
  • Previous experience working in long-term care/assisted living environment considered an asset
