At MBW Courier Inc, a leading provider of transportation services in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and Newfoundland, we are seeking a reliable and skilled 5 Ton Courier driver to join our team based in Truro, NS.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a 5-ton truck and/or cube truck to transport various items to different locations.
  • Perform physical labor and handling of shipments weighing up to 75 pounds.
  • Load and unload deliveries using various mechanisms and delivery assistance devices.
  • Utilize technology to map routes, track shipments, and communicate with customers.
  • Ensure accurate delivery and documentation of shipments.
  • Maintain route supply inventory to ensure timely delivery to customers.
  • Complete daily paperwork and reports accurately.
  • Provide excellent customer service and perform tasks in a professional manner.

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of professional driving experience preferred.
  • Ability to multitask and complete tasks efficiently.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Reliable work ethic and ability to work independently.
  • Good listening and verbal communication skills.
  • Valid Class 5 Driver's License (required); Class 3 considered an asset.
