Job Summary

ClubLink is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Key Labourer to join our team at Glen Abbey Golf Club. As a Key Labourer, you will play a critical role in maintaining the golf course and surrounding areas to ensure a high-quality experience for our members and guests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the superintendent in managing all aspects of the golf course property, including the golf course, parking lots, entrance roads, gardens, and naturalized areas.
  • Assist in the upkeep of the turf maintenance building(s) and other golf course structures, such as rain shelters, bridges, and on-course washrooms.
  • Make recommendations to the superintendent regarding the daily condition of the golf course.
  • Maintain buildings, equipment, and property in a professional manner.
  • Contribute to the superintendent's pesticide and fertilizer management practices, including calibrating, applying, and recording fertilizer and pesticides.
  • Operate and be familiar with safety procedures for all on-site turf equipment.

Qualifications

  • Completion or enrollment in a 2-year college degree program with an emphasis on turf management.
  • Valid pesticide license or ability to obtain (re-certification required every 5 years).
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
