The Fleet Software Group is tasked with the design, development, and maintenance of the Fleet Manager and software applications that facilitate user interaction, monitoring, and support for OTTO Autonomous Vehicles.

This role encompasses participation in the entire product lifecycle, including customer insight collection, problem identification, solution development, application design, and ongoing support.

We are looking for a candidate to enhance, oversee, and sustain automated testing infrastructure for web applications that manage fleets of virtual or physically simulated autonomous vehicles.

Your collaboration will be crucial with various teams including testing, continuous integration, simulation, and Fleet software development, as well as other departments within OTTO Motors, to deliver effective solutions to our customers' challenges regarding autonomous material transport vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:
- Establishing and expanding test automation frameworks.
- Designing test campaigns and documenting outcomes.
- Conducting tests for full systems, components, simulations, and performance.
- Experience in software development or test automation within an enterprise context through internships or co-op positions.
- Proficiency in Linux/Ubuntu environments and scripting languages (bash, python).
- Utilizing continuous integration tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI) and version control systems (git).
- Developing and maintaining scripts to automate deployment processes and familiarity with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet, etc.).
- Understanding web technologies and concepts such as REST API, WebSockets, and client-side rendering.
- Knowledge of DevOps best practices.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Netdata).
- A notable experience related to software challenges.
