Job Title: Server

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Server to join our team at Cineplex in London, Ontario. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional dining experiences to our guests, ensuring that every visit is memorable and enjoyable.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Take food and beverage orders from guests and ensure accurate execution.
  • Maintain a strong working knowledge of all menu items and daily specials.
  • Provide prompt and courteous service to all restaurant patrons.
  • Clean designated areas, including tables, floors, and restrooms, in accordance with company standards.
  • Assist with opening and closing routines, including setting up and breaking down tables, and restocking supplies.
  • Ensure that all guests are correctly charged and that payments are processed efficiently.
  • Attend to guest complaints and resolve issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Participate in on-the-job training to ensure subordinate staff can carry out their duties effectively.
  • Adhere to all health, food safety, and liquor service guidelines.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-3 years of restaurant service experience considered an asset.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a diverse environment.
  • Able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Able to work well under pressure and maintain a positive attitude.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
Working Conditions:
  • Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and peripherals.
  • Overtime as required.
  • Required to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
  • Lifting or moving up to 20lbs may be required.
