About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Pharmacovigilance Associate I to join our team at CB Canada. As a key member of our Pharmacovigilance department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and efficacy of our pharmaceutical products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Information Management and Pharmacovigilance: Receive, scan, and document all pertinent clinical information in compliance with SOP/protocol and applicable legislation.
  • Medical Enquiries: Address medical enquiries with the use of approved FAQs.
  • Client Communication: Work directly with internal and external clients to request additional information or clarification as necessary.
  • Database Management: Review patient information in database and ensure accurate documentation as per client needs.
  • Data Entry: Data entry into program-specific databases.
  • Document Management: Sorting and filing of incoming faxes and documents.
  • Quality Control: Perform quality check on adverse event reports as directed by the work instructions.
  • Source Data Verification: Assist with and/or perform source data verification checks.
Requirements
  • Experience: Experience in aggregate report writing across all formats (PSUR, PBRER, DSUR, PADR, ASR), scientific literature screening, and signal detection analysis.
  • Education: Minimum college-level education required. A diploma or degree with a concentration in Life Sciences is a strong asset.
  • Skills: Adaptability to change and to learn new skills as required. Experience in the medical and/or pharmaceutical field(s), medical terminology is an asset.
