Agricultural Equipment Technician

Brandt is seeking an experienced Agricultural Equipment Technician to join our team in Trochu, AB. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining agricultural equipment, including tractors, hay tools, and other ag and turf implements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and repair complex equipment issues, including engine, transmission, electrical, hydraulic, and air conditioning systems.
  • Perform preventative maintenance inspections, including fluid and filter changes, testing, and adjustments for optimal performance.
  • Recondition pre-owned equipment to meet manufacturer standards.
  • Accurately record work order notes for customer and warranty records.
Requirements:
  • Heavy Equipment Technician or Agriculture Equipment Technician certification an asset.
  • Previous field tech or road tech experience a plus.
  • Basic to above-average computer skills and a passion for problem-solving.
  • Experience in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining equipment.
  • Ability to complete detailed repair order notes on each job.
