Are you a collaborative individual with a passion for diverse projects? Les Câbles Ben-Mor is expanding its IT department and is in search of a Software Development Analyst.
The SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT ANALYST is crucial in the design and execution of necessary evaluations for the upkeep and advancement of systems. This role involves optimizing system performance, diagnosing system issues to develop effective solutions through sound development practices, crafting new programming code or modifying existing code, and conducting tests to aid in the implementation strategy.

Your responsibilities:
  • Develop, test, and sustain high-quality software applications and solutions;
  • Evaluate business requirements and convert them into technical specifications;
  • Design and implement effective database architectures and queries utilizing SQL Server;
  • Utilize C/AL and AL programming languages for ERP system customization and enhancement;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated tools that address business needs;
  • Conduct system troubleshooting and debugging to resolve technical challenges;
  • Ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to best practices in all development efforts;
  • Provide support and training to end-users and fellow team members as necessary;
  • Undertake any other related tasks.
Qualifications:
  • Team-oriented mindset;
  • Agility: resourcefulness, independence, and ability to manage multiple tasks;
  • Strong organizational skills with effective priority and stress management;
  • Proficiency in French and professional English (both spoken and written);
  • Curiosity and self-motivation;
  • Robust problem-solving abilities;
  • Proficient in SQL; experience with T-SQL and SQL Server is highly preferred;
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics NAV or Business Central is a plus;
  • Solid understanding of C/AL and AL programming languages;
  • Knowledge of additional programming languages such as C#, Java, or Python;
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies;
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms like Azure or AWS;
  • Basic knowledge of at least one version control system such as Git;
  • Willingness to work evenings and weekends occasionally.
Education and Experience:
  • University degree in IT or equivalent relevant experience;
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in programming and systems analysis;
  • Experience with ERP systems is essential.
