The SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT ANALYST plays a crucial role in the design and execution of necessary evaluations for the upkeep and advancement of systems. This position also involves optimizing system performance, diagnosing system issues to devise effective solutions through sound development practices, crafting new programming code or adjusting existing code, and conducting tests to aid in the deployment strategy.

Your responsibilities:
  • Develop, test, and sustain high-quality software applications and solutions;
  • Assess business requirements and convert them into technical specifications;
  • Design and execute efficient database architectures and queries utilizing SQL Server;
  • Engage with C/AL and AL programming languages for ERP system customization and enhancement;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated tools that address business requirements;
  • Conduct system troubleshooting and debugging to resolve technical challenges;
  • Guarantee code quality, maintainability, and adherence to best practices in all development tasks;
  • Offer support and training to end-users and fellow team members as necessary;

Qualifications:
  • Team-oriented mindset and collaborative spirit;
  • Resourcefulness, independence, and ability to handle multiple tasks;
  • Strong organizational skills with effective priority and stress management;
  • Proficiency in French and professional English (both spoken and written);
  • Curiosity and self-directed learning;
  • Robust problem-solving abilities;
  • Expertise in SQL language. Experience with T-SQL and SQL Server is highly advantageous;
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics NAV or Business Central is highly preferred;
  • Solid understanding of C/AL and AL programming languages;
  • Knowledge of additional programming languages such as C#, Java, or Python;
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies;
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms like Azure or AWS;
  • Basic understanding of at least one version control system such as Git;
  • Willingness to work evenings and weekends occasionally.
Experience and Education:
  • University degree in IT or equivalent relevant experience;
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in programming and systems analysis;
  • Experience with ERP systems is essential.
