We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team at The Huron Club Restaurant & Bar Inc. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities:- Food Preparation: Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, including soups, salads, and entrees, to meet the needs of our customers.
- Food Safety and Quality: Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations and guidelines.
- Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective food preparation and service.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records and order supplies as needed to ensure a smooth operation.
- Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean and maintain kitchen equipment and utensils, as well as the kitchen itself, to ensure a clean and safe environment.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
- Skills: Excellent cooking skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
