Position Overview

In the role of Performance Optimization Specialist at Veeva, you will be instrumental in guaranteeing the efficacy of our software deployments. Your key responsibilities will encompass establishing and attaining performance metrics, diagnosing performance challenges, collaborating closely with the Engineering team, overseeing production performance, and creating tools for performance assessment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and meet performance and scalability metrics for Veeva's offerings
  • Utilize performance measurement and profiling tools such as Yourkit and JMeter effectively
  • Partner with the Engineering team to address performance-related challenges
  • Oversee production performance and troubleshoot issues
  • Create automation tools for performance assessment
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Performance Engineering and Benchmarking
  • Proficient in Java, MySQL, and scripting languages such as Python and Shell scripting
  • Extensive experience with performance engineering tools like JMeter and LoadRunner
  • Skilled in identifying the root causes of performance bottlenecks
  • Strong grasp of distributed computing systems and architecture
  • Familiarity with Linux, Docker, AWS, and GIT
