Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning tasks, including operating cleaning machines, cleaning soot and creosote from chimneys and fireplaces, and cleaning building exteriors, tanks, and industrial equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Operate cleaning machines and equipment to clean buildings, tanks, and industrial equipment
- Clean soot and creosote from chimneys and fireplaces
- Clean ducts, vents, and filters of furnaces
- Clean building exteriors, tanks, and industrial equipment
- Clean interior and exterior of motor vehicles
- Wash and clean interior and exterior windows and other glass surfaces
- Vacuum floors
- Wax and polish floors
- Shampoo upholstery
- Provide customer service and interact with clients in a professional manner
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Experience in cleaning and maintenance industry an asset
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
- Ability to lift heavy loads and work in physically demanding environment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Work will be performed in a variety of environments, including outdoors and in confined spaces
- May be required to work at heights and in physically demanding conditions
- May be required to work in wet, damp, or dirty environments
