Job Summary:

The Food Counter Attendant is a key member of our team at A&W Restaurants Inc, responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take customer orders and process payments in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Prepare and serve food and beverages, including cooking, heating, and finishing cooked food items.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Stock and replenish food and beverage supplies, as well as maintain inventory levels.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional manner.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales and customer satisfaction goals.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management, including cleaning and sanitizing equipment and facilities.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask with ease.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in a food service or customer service role an asset.
