Job Title: Nursery Labourer

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and physically fit individual to assist in the daily tasks of our nursery. As a Nursery Labourer, you will be responsible for:

  • Cleaning and maintaining crops
  • Cutting and pruning trees, shrubs, and plants
  • Tying and securing plants
  • Weeding and assisting in pruning
  • Mixing and preparing soils
  • Potting and re-potting plants
  • Transplanting seedlings or rooted cuttings
  • Digging up wrapping rootballs of trees and shrubs
  • Watering and tending to plants, lawns, and/or gardens
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and handle heavy loads
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and bend, crouch, or kneel
  • Basic knowledge of horticulture and plant care
