About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Designer to join our team at Canadian Tire Corporation. As a Product Designer, you will play a key role in creating innovative and high-quality products that meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and design new product concepts that meet the needs of our customers and align with our brand strategy.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, sourcing, and brand marketing, to develop innovative and commercial product ideas.
  • Ensure that all products meet our quality and performance standards, and are engineered to meet and exceed cost targets and financial objectives.
  • Conduct market research and analyze trends to stay up-to-date on the latest developments in the outdoor sporting goods industry.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with manufacturing partners and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective production of products.
  • Communicate product concepts and designs to stakeholders through effective presentation and communication skills.
Requirements
  • Accredited degree in Industrial Design or related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a product design role.
  • Strong expertise in Adobe C-Suite (Illustrator and Photoshop) and 3D modeling experience.
  • Knowledge of PLM (Product Line Management) tools and common manufacturing techniques.
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive base salary of $70,000 to $90,000, company benefits, bonuses, and additional compensation. We value flexibility and have adopted a hybrid work model that allows employees to work from home and in the office.
