Key Responsibilities:
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure that all safety procedures are followed and products are handled safely.
  • Material Handling: Safely move materials to their designated locations, checking for quality, order accuracy, and labeling.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate a forklift safely and efficiently, adhering to CSA Safety Standards.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Participate in daily preventative maintenance procedures for assigned forklifts.
  • Communication: Demonstrate strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.
  • Adaptability: Be flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Physical Demands:
  • Lifting and Carrying: May be required to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs unassisted, and lift between 50-75 lbs assisted.
  • Physical Activity: Frequent use of hands, lifting, bending, stooping, twisting, standing, and reaching may occur.
  • Personal Protective Equipment: Wear CSA-approved safety shoes and reflective safety vest.
Requirements:
  • Valid Forklift License: Required.
  • Company Medical: Pass a company medical examination.
  • Criminal Record: No criminal record for which a pardon has not been granted.
