Job Title: AI Research Engineer Intern

Novari Health Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and talented AI Research Engineer Intern to join our team in Kingston, Ontario. As a key member of our AI Research Team, you will play a central role in driving AI initiatives aimed at improving Novari solutions.

Responsibilities:
  1. Collaborate with our AI Research Team to support ongoing projects focused on the development and application of artificial intelligence in healthcare.
  2. Contribute to the design and implementation of AI algorithms aimed at solving complex healthcare challenges.
  3. Conduct in-depth analysis of healthcare datasets to identify patterns, trends, and insights that inform AI model development.
  4. Assist in evaluating the performance of AI models through rigorous testing and validation procedures.
  5. Prepare detailed documentation of research methodologies, experimental procedures, and findings.
Requirements:
  1. Pursuing a Bachelor's degree at Queen's University in computer science, computer systems engineering, software engineering, web design, or a field related to the industry.
  2. Strong background in data structures or algorithms gathered from inside or outside of school or work.
  3. Basic understanding of programming languages such as Python or R.
  4. Basic understanding of object-oriented programming languages such as C#, JAVA.
  5. Understanding of basic machine learning concepts and algorithms such as Linear Regression, Logistic Regression, Random Forest.
Working Conditions:
  1. Employee may sit for prolonged periods of time.
  2. Prolonged periods of time viewing computer monitor and keyboarding.
  3. Tight deadlines, with multiple and rapidly changing priorities.
