Claims Policy Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Claims Policy Director to join our team at Crawford & Company. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and overseeing our professional standards program, including the management of professional indemnity claims.
Key Responsibilities- Establish and maintain professional standards policies and documents
- Collaborate with management team to drive compliance with professional standards
- Manage professional indemnity claims made against the organization
- Report claims activity and outcomes to risk management and insurance team
- Oversee robust privacy and compliance management program
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's degree in insurance, law, business or a related field
- ~10 years of loss adjusting and litigation management experience with direct experience with professional indemnity (E&O) claims
- Expert level knowledge of claims management including loss adjusting, mediation and litigation management experience
- Adjuster licensing preferred
- CIP, FCIP or CRM designation required
