Fleming College is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager, College Services to provide strategic leadership to the College's ancillary business units. The successful candidate will be responsible for integrated business planning, revenue generation, and implementing innovative practices that enable student success.
Key Responsibilities- Provide strategic leadership to the College's ancillary business units, including the Campus Store, food services, OneCard operations, Parking, Conference & Events Services, and Information Booths.
- Develop and implement integrated business plans to support student success and sustainable business development.
- Oversee revenue generation and implement innovative practices to enhance the campus experience.
- Work with operators, student associations, and campus partners to deliver services that meet the needs of students and achieve revenue targets.
- Manage budgets and financial forecasts, and make sound decisions to ensure the financial sustainability of the College's ancillary services.
- 3-year diploma in a related field of study.
- A minimum of 5 years of working experience in a related field, including budget development and management, facility management, and experience managing multi-functions.
- Strong leadership and management experience in a unionized environment, with a proven track record of employee motivation, development, team building, and human resource management.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to build consensus, negotiate, and influence.
- Ability to deal with ambiguity and complexity in emotionally difficult situations.
- Software proficiency in Microsoft Office, databases, social media, and web-based platforms.
