As a B1 Licensed Engineer, you will be part of a team that provides top-notch maintenance services to customers in the UK region and beyond.
Key Responsibilities- Adhere to Bombardier's Maintenance Organization Procedures, including the relevant parts of the MOE and applicable work instructions.
- Troubleshoot, repair, inspect, and perform maintenance on customer aircraft.
- Perform and document all work performed per appropriate manuals and regulations as required.
- Train, coach, and support other employees.
- Respond to customer queries and requests.
- Perform complete engine runs as required.
- Perform complex repairs on aircraft systems.
- Supervise Mechanics when carrying out maintenance tasks and determine that relevant tasks or inspections have been carried out to the required standard.
- Release line maintenance tasks that are performed by him-/herself or under their supervision for which they are trained and authorized.
- Perform maintenance at off-site locations and be responsible for day-to-day station admin requirements.
- Assist in providing time and cost estimates.
- EASA/CAA Part 66 Aircraft Maintenance License: B1, B2, and C.
- Additional Business Jet Line Maintenance experience within the last 3 to 5 years.
- Experience with working on Bombardier Business Jet aircraft types (Challenger, Global, Learjet).
- Demonstrated ability to train other employees.
- Part-147 approved type training on your license and held the approval for at least 2 years.
- Engine run qualified – preferred.
- Good knowledge of the requirements of Appendix I to Part-66.
- Good knowledge of Part-M, Part-145, and any other relevant regulations.
- At least 6 months of relevant aircraft or maintenance experience in any consecutive 2-year period.
- Knowledge of human factors, human performance, and limitations.
- Knowledge of EWIS and CDCCL when relevant.
- Current on all training requirements (recurrent/continuation training).
- Ability to interpret and work with engineering drawings.
- Ability to effectively communicate in both written and verbal form on individual task and/or aircraft status.
- Ability to use information systems (computer skills).
