BBA Consultants is seeking a principal engineer to enhance the capabilities of our Soil and Infrastructure division. We are in search of an individual who can assume a pivotal technical role, contributing to the civil engineering design of mine tailings facilities, waste rock structures, and various water management systems. Furthermore, you will be tasked with overseeing a project team, making this position ideal for those interested in a blend of technical and managerial responsibilities.
Key opportunities with us:
Develop mine tailings management systems utilizing both traditional and innovative technologies for tailings, waste rock, and water management infrastructures, including dams, dikes, and earthworks. Engage in the civil, geotechnical, and hydrotechnical design aspects of tailings facilities. Manage and execute projects, ensuring quality control, and overseeing time and budget constraints. Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary project teams, collaborating with other professionals to successfully deliver projects. Prepare and review technical documentation, including reports, drawings, specifications, bills of quantities, and cost estimates. Participate in business development efforts with both new and existing clients. Contribute to the formulation of a business strategy for mine waste management services.
