About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, conducting medical examinations, and developing treatment plans to address a wide range of health issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and analyze medical information from patients and other healthcare professionals to inform diagnosis and treatment decisions.
  • Conduct thorough medical examinations to identify diseases and injuries, and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Prescribe and administer medications, as well as order laboratory tests and diagnostic procedures as needed.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care and support to patients.
  • Provide education and guidance to patients on healthy habits, disease prevention, and management of chronic conditions.
  • Document patient information and treatment plans in a clear and concise manner.
Requirements
  • Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree.
  • Licensure to practice medicine in the province or territory.
  • Experience working in a family medicine setting, preferably in a clinic or community health setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions in a fast-paced environment.
