The Housing Support Program Consultant is responsible for managing funding allocations and assessing the performance of Non-Profit Organizations that deliver housing and support services. This role includes the approval of substantial operational budgets sourced from various funding streams and offering recommendations for program execution with an emphasis on financial management and risk assessment. The position requires collaboration with service providers, fostering relationships with stakeholders, and providing strategic leadership to meet organizational objectives.
Candidate Profile
Education & Experience:
- A Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business Management, or a related discipline.
- Significant experience in managing non-profit organizations, community-oriented programs, and engaging with stakeholders.
Skills & Competencies:
- Knowledge of governmental social initiatives and governance of non-profit entities.
- Awareness of social challenges, policies from BC Housing, and housing legislation.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and analytical abilities.
- Competence in utilizing computer software and managing databases.
