Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets, while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Provide technical support and product advice to customers, including preparing quotations and sales orders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Operations, CAD, Shipping, and Finance, to ensure seamless communication and effective issue resolution.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, new products, and company developments to provide expert knowledge and insights to customers.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent, with 2-4+ years of experience in sales or a related field.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exceptional customer service.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in a Technical or Business discipline from an accredited College or University.
  • 5-8+ years of experience in sales, customer support, or a related field.
  • Experience in the steel industry, with knowledge of CAD and nesting software.
