Job Summary:

Cedarcroft Place Retirement Residence is seeking a temporary Housekeeping Aide to provide a clean and safe environment for residents and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform cleaning duties and routines to maintain a pleasant and safe environment.
  • Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of resident rooms and common areas.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a smooth and efficient cleaning process.
  • Participate in on-the-job training to develop basic skills and knowledge.
  • Meet the requirements for working in a health care environment, including vaccination and health clearance.

Requirements:

  • Ability to learn and apply basic skills through on-the-job training.
  • Self-regulation and ability to work independently.
  • Cooperation with others and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field is an asset.
  • Previous experience working in a health care environment is beneficial but not required.
