Lead Environment Artist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Environment Artist to join our Battlefield team at Electronic Arts Inc. As a key member of our art team, you will be responsible for creating realistic environments, inspiring incredible artwork, and helping to define our production techniques.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with Art Directors to support Environment artists in delivering environments to quality and focusing on the bigger picture.
- Guide artists and collaborate with project managers to determine budget, project scope, and deadlines.
- Refine and review environments delivered from external sources and bring them up to quality standards.
- Work with external/remote teams, including usability partners, to maintain the vision and communicate effectively.
- At least 3+ years of experience leading an environment art team.
- Shipped 1 or more AAA game(s) on multiple platforms.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a propensity for building relationships across seniority levels.
- Strong capability in backlog and time management, organization skills, and scoping to deadlines and constraints.
- Proficient knowledge of Maya, Substance painter, and/or other 2D/3D software packages.
- Deep knowledge of environment production process and an interest in collaborating with stakeholders to improve the way we work.
