Food Service Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Operations Manager to join our team at Mary Brown's Chicken. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food quality meets the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Evaluate daily operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
- Monitor staff performance and provide coaching and feedback to improve productivity and customer satisfaction
- Plan and organize daily operations, including menu planning, inventory management, and supply chain logistics
- Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of food service professionals
- Set staff work schedules and ensure adequate staffing levels to meet customer demand
- Supervise staff and provide guidance on customer service, food safety, and quality control
- Organize and maintain inventory, including food, supplies, and equipment
- Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner
- Provide exceptional customer service and ensure that customer needs are met
- Manage events and promotions to drive sales and increase customer engagement
- Dependability and reliability in meeting deadlines and commitments
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, customers, and vendors
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
- Recruit and support newcomers and refugees in their job search and career development
- Provide guidance and resources to help newcomers and refugees navigate the Canadian job market
- Offer on-the-job training and mentorship to youth in the food service industry
- Provide coaching and networking opportunities to help youth develop their skills and advance their careers
- Offer mentorship and coaching to Indigenous workers in the food service industry
- Develop and maintain relationships with Indigenous communities, businesses, and organizations to promote economic development and job opportunities
