Compensation & Work Schedule:
  • Annual salary of $65,000.
  • Standard workweek from Monday to Friday, with flexibility for events and programs.
  • Office-based position.
  • Preference for candidates residing in the local area or those willing to relocate.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Designing, implementing, and managing preventative social service initiatives tailored to local residents.
  • Overseeing daily operations of the Community Support Services, including staff and volunteer management.
  • Writing and overseeing grant proposals.
  • Representing the program at various community events and meetings.
  • Providing direct support to ensure accessibility and awareness of services.
  • Creating and delivering social programs based on community needs.
  • Encouraging community participation in social events.
  • Monitoring program compliance, budgets, and funding.
  • Reporting on program outcomes to ensure alignment with goals and budgets.
Qualifications:
  • Post-secondary education.
  • Minimum of two years' experience in community outreach or social program development.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities in managing teams and programs.
  • Experience in grant writing and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in budget management and reporting.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Must provide a clean Criminal Record Check, including Vulnerable Sector Check.
  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Candidates residing in the local area.
  • Experience working with vulnerable populations.
  • Post-secondary education in Human Services.
