About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Granite Warehouse Inc. as a key member of our retail operations team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Sales Team: Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales workers, ensuring excellent customer service and sales performance.
  • Merchandise Management: Order and manage merchandise, authorize returns, and maintain inventory levels to meet customer demand.
  • Staff Management: Hire, train, and develop staff members, providing coaching and feedback to ensure they meet performance expectations.
  • Financial Management: Authorize payments, manage cash handling, and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Store Operations: Establish work schedules, manage store appearance, and maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, resolve customer complaints, and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and analyze sales reports, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of retail management experience.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Environment: Urban area.
