Job Title: Technical Support Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Analyst to join our team at Windsor Place Retirement Residence Inc. in Canada.

Job Summary:

The Technical Support Analyst will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to our staff and residents. This includes troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, maintaining and upgrading computer systems and networks, and implementing data and software security procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support and assistance to staff and residents
  • Maintain and upgrade computer systems and networks
  • Implement data and software security procedures
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
  • Perform routine network start up and close down and maintain control records
  • Set up local area networks and connections to the Internet
  • Implement network traffic and security monitoring software, and optimize server performance
  • Perform Web-server backup and recovery operations
Requirements:
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related field
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Telecommunications Engineering
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of computer hardware, networking software, and operating system software
