About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Professional to join our team at Cultus Lake Pub. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, ensuring that all dishes are presented to the highest standards.
  • Kitchen Maintenance: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure that they are clean and well-maintained.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
  • Staff Management: Recruit and hire staff, and provide training and support to ensure that they are equipped to provide excellent customer service.
  • Culture and Diversity: Develop and implement programs to support newcomers and refugees, including mentorship programs and diversity and cross-cultural training.
  • Indigenous Support: Develop and implement programs to support Indigenous workers, including mentorship, coaching and networking opportunities, and cultural competency training.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
